Our Mission
With experience in offices of both business law and major law, the lawyer in the Office of Jared M. Witt is committed to providing the highest quality legal services of a big legal firm with the personal responsiveness and value of a small practice.
Jared M. Witt received his Juris Doctor degree in 1995 from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. Jared earned his Bachelors Degree in 1990 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst after studying at UMass and at California State University - Dominguez Hills in the field of communications. After a few years operating a firm that contracted businesses, Jared attended Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. While at law school, Jared studied international environmental law in Nairobi, Kenya, and received such awards as the American Jurisprudence award for best performance in Moot Court.
After taking the New Jersey and New York bars, Jared served as counsel to an environmental consulting firm. In 1996, Jared joined a general practice law firm in Woodbridge, New Jersey, practicing a combination of corporates work, real estate and general litigation. In 1999 Jared joined the Princeton-based firm Jamieson Moore Peskin & Spicer, concentrating his practice in general corporate law, securities, banking and real estate. In 2001, Jamieson Moore's corporate practice area merged with the New York-based firm Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, where his practice continued primarily in the areas of corporate, securities, banking and real estate law.
On January 1, 2004 the law Offices of Jared M. Witt opened. Since beginning this practice, the office has represented numerous businesses on a variety of business dispute matters, acquisitions, commercial disputes and infringement matters. The attorney of Witt Law represents both non-profit and for-profit entities and individuals.
